They're ideal for shading small, detailed areas, as well as adding depth and dimension to your tattoos. The round shader is often used for these tattoo styles: a few lines, lettering, colour fills and shading, Japanese, Traditional and Neo Traditional, Tribal or Samoan.
What size needle to use for tattooing? Depending on the effect you want, 5RS, 7RS, 9RS (Round Shader) are the sizes most often used for small areas of shading and fine fillings.
