Modern tattooing has given us a new perspective on the possibilities and effects applicable in the craft. Over time we have seen realistic tattoos that have more and more depth and opacity.
These effects can be achieved by adding small droplets of white to your favourite black ink.
The problem: In a Greywash series, the lightest tone is the one that contains the most water and has a varnish effect.
However, the lightest tone in a colour grey is the one that contains the most white.
When artists mix their own colour grey tones based on a Greywash tone, there is a good chance that the healed tattoo will be uneven and the result will not be as expected.
The second generation of I AM INK - Colour Grey - consists of three pre-mixed shades based on first-generation Greywashes I AM INK.
Mixed by machines, the black and white tones are blended to perfection for optimum results.
The colour greys are available in three shades:
Silver 1: The lightest tone, based on first-generation "Sumi 1".
Silver 2: The medium tone, based on first-generation Sumi 2.
Silver 3: The darkest shade in the Silverwash series, based on the first-generation "Sumi 3".
