The Round Shader has the same circular layout as the Round Liners, the only change is that these needles have more widely spaced microdots, offering unrivalled control for creating delicate shadows and subtle nuances. The round shader is often used for these tattoo styles: a few lines, lettering, colour fills and shading, Japanese, Traditional and Neo Traditional, Tribal or Samoan.
What size needle to use for tattooing? Depending on the rendering you want, 3RS, 5RS, 7RS, 9RS (Round Shader) are the sizes most commonly used for small areas of shading and thin fills, while 11RS, 14RS and 18RS will be for thicker renderings.
They have an integrated reservoir on liners and shaders to reduce ink refills and therefore save considerable time during sessions.
