The Cheyenne Hawk has a very powerful motor, and with some power supplies it is not possible to start the machine without this cable in order to reach the approximate 10-11 volts needed to start the motor and the machine, and then drop to the 3-5 volts needed without any problem.
This cable eliminates the need to reach 10-11 volts to start the machine and then drop the voltage. It simply allows tattoo artists to start the machine at the desired voltage.
