During tattooing, the skin exudes, tears and stretches... just like The Foolish Butcher brand of synthetic skin.
The Foolish Butcher's synthetic skins are 4mm thick and are designed to mimic skin in the best possible way, allowing thetattoo apprentice to learn the discipline by having a medium that can also show the mistakes that can be made when tattooing.
The skin is capable of tearing if you use the wrong needle direction or excessive speed, for example. It is therefore preferable to practise well on this type of skin before even practising in real conditions.
Instructions for use :
1. Wash the synthetic skin with degreasing soap and water
2. Once the synthetic skin is dry, apply your stencil. Spread the paper with the stencil and press down until the subject is completely transferred.
3. Once the transfer is complete, lift the paper and leave it to dry thoroughly.
4. Gently apply a thin layer of Vaseline over the entire design.
5. Start tattooing and working, adding Vaseline regularly.
6. Once the tattoo is finished, clean it with soapy water to remove all traces of stencil and Vaseline.
